Police will find it distatsteful for anything that happens which looks even remotely unlawful, they ( police ) want a share in it by way of hafta. If they dont get it, they are naturally upset. By painting a bleak and dark picture about such practices , the media is opening the doors to dangerous blackmailing, police extortion rackets. Thugs and police may begin raiding normal households and family get togethers just to make a fast buck. Non-Indians comments dont deserve a reply.
