Air America Radio host Sam Seder and writer Stephen Sherrill criticize anti-gay conservatives in an excerpt from their book, "F.U.B.A.R.: America's Right-Wing Nightmare."

-----

Sam Seder and Stephen Sherrill carry on with "F.U.B.A.R.* America's Right Wing Nightmare."

The creators of Air America Radio's "The Majority Report" take us on a whirlwind tour of what's left of the United States, exposing the truth about the Right's blueprint for total domination - over your money, your mind, your sex life, and even your place in the afterlife. In chapters from "The Republican Cat Food Promotion Act of 2005" to "So You Wanna Buy a Congressman", F.U.B.A.R. takes a look at how the country has become oppressed by what they call the American Taliban and pose some difficult and pressing questions, including: Can I be a gay Republican? Is New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman's mustache a sign of the Beast? I thought we owned the media. What happened? -- Cody's Books

  • It seems to me you are the one who is scarred of homosexuality and are thus the one that is insecure.

No one is forcing you to be gay, and what you perceive as 'shoving in your face' is really just people not hiding what they are anymore. Which is a HEALTHY thing to do.

  • god dammit i love sam. what the fuck were they thinking moving him to sundays

  • @Plato86 I think HatoHatey6 means to say most people. But he might just be a bigot. Notice how he thinks homosexuality (addiction) is a disease? And of course, that incapability of love thing is all the rage with anti-semites too. But Hato's also incapable of love, he hates himself. Cheers.

  • @BobbyFuckingSteele more republiKKK-ants are anti equality and anti american, than democrats

  • got this cut on my forehead from your dads belt buckle but he is striaght right? just liked my dress and stockings.

  • Clever.. they oughta try discussing Dick Cheney, and his support for Gay Marriage...

No - that wouldn't fit the lie.

They could discuss the countless DemoKKK-Rats who express homophobia - where it is rampant...using anti-gay epithets at "Tea Baggers"... but then again - all you really care about is TOTAL POWER

  • Haha wow this vid is so hypocritical they are the ones trying to force their beliefs not gays.

  • And what, pray tell, IS this more important question?

  • There is no wild theory being expressed here, there is only straight forward obeservation. The stats speak for themselves. If there was not an epidemic of promiscuous behavior among homosexuals "safe sex" groups would not focus some much effort on that community. Now to address the more important question.

  • "You can't handle the raw truth because it directly contradicts your emotional attachment to certain beliefs."

Okay, so NOW you're gonna have to explain how your wild theories about how gays live their lives translates into "raw truth", first of all. AND this begs another question: even if your opinions were "raw truth", why should this prohibit those gays that do desire a long-term committed relationship from legitimizing one through the bond of marriage?

  • I can't speak about your personal experience but the fact is that most gays never settle down with one person. Just like a junkie who never kicks his addiction is incapable of sobriety, so the promiscuous person who continues to sleep around is incapable of loving. Most gays continue to sleep around until there death and thus most gays do not love. You can't handle the raw truth because it directly contradicts your emotional attachment to certain beliefs. This is the ultimate fail.

  • If your point is that cheating is wrong, then sure, I'll agree with you. But your assertion that anyone of a promiscuous nature is incapable of feeling love is simply wrong. I used to have random casual sex, all the time, no feelings, no strings. Now I've met a wonderful woman, we're engaged, and I don't want anyone else. I am an example of a promiscuous person capable of loving, and capable of fidelity.

And if your argument, btw, is that the "majority" of gays do not love, you still fail.
