amazing! but nots let it get twisted hendrix wrote this when he was 21 and was a genius, carlos is 40 and he didnt write it. But still played amazingly
alot of people seem 2 think that jimi hendrix was a god...sure he was fast and ahead of his time but he actually missed notes like crazy and was pretty sloppy ...i honestly think that ur interpretaion was was cleaner and soulful than the original...ur def 1 of the best tappers ive ever seen..u did 2 this song whast hendrix did 2 dylans all along the watchtower
hendrix wasn't all about playing fast, and playing fast/being precise does not a great guitarist necessarily make. alot of songs like Little Wing aren't speed contests but him playing in a signature style that's still hard to reproduce today. He was great because he really showed how far and how many different ways you could take guitar playing, as well as how much of himself was put into it. the guitar was really an extension of himself.
Hey i gotta question. Did you do something to your acoustic to make it easier to tap on? Or can you do that on any steel string acoustic right off the shelf?
