Dance Party USA was one of USA's original shows at this time, and it was based on a local WPHL Philly show called Dancin On Air'

I was 12 at the time this aired and remember the whole Noriega fiasco.

I was living in Panama when Operation Just Cause (the end of which is described by Noriega turning himself in) occured. I remeber the day that Noriega surrendered: in the days leading up to it, he was hiding in the Papal Nunciature, but left after the Vatican told the U.S. to stop playing "PsOps" by blaring heavy metal music at their embassy. I was a witness to it the day before his surrender.
