TEST DRIVE 5 Promo video trailer from 1998

Here's what we had a decade ago. This was the advertisement seen on gamespot, adrenaline vault and other game websites of Accolade's newest game as usual slated for the upcoming Christmas. Pardon the low res video, back then vids were only optimized for dial-ups. ^_^ It's interesting how far gaming has evolved since then. ^_^

this video is very cool.but there are cars from test drive 4 in that video.

i have played that game for pc and ps1 and is tis very good to play.

Indeed, TD5's game engine is very fun to drive, whether you use analog or digital steering. Lots of ppl hated Pitbull Syndicate's TD's for its tough AI but it's actually an excellent challenge considering you're given superb control of the cars.

at 0:12 you can see the Plymouth 'Cuda from test drive 4, the paint job was different in 5.

i dont like the quality but the game is one to my favorites is the best game of the test drive

I spent hours upon hours on this game, to the point where I didn't even crash into walls anymore. My favorite was the car with the turbocharger :)

Wow. This was the game that got me into racing games, got me into liking cars, and the Dodge Viper.

I can remember when I played the demo and PS One, the first thing tnat came up when the demo loading was this song, an add for the Dodge viper GTS coupe. I was like "I gotta have this game, and that car."

So whenever I hear that song now, I think of this game and the Viper. Ah, the memories!

this was the first game i had for the ps1. best Christmas ever
