There are truly a lot more than ten organists in the world who can play the organ that way and better. Lynn Davis is a very good organist, but I would not say that she is one of the world's greatest. I remember attending a recital that she played at the Church of the Holy Trinity (Episcopal) in New York City a few years ago. She made so many mistakes during the Bach - Prelude and Fugue in D major as well as a couple of other pieces. I was almost embarrassed for her. Interesting story however.
Interesting! I was a WSU music major, and I've never the restricted area in where the pipes are stored or built. Although I know some history of the Danish organ that was purchased, brought over, and even built around the Wiedemann Hall. The acoustics are just amazing!
A talented lady and beautiful from the inside out.

No offense to Lynne Davis, but there are more than 10 people that can "play the organ this way." Hm. Great story, otherwise!
