  • A talented lady and beautiful from the inside out.

  • There are truly a lot more than ten organists in the world who can play the organ that way and better. Lynn Davis is a very good organist, but I would not say that she is one of the world's greatest. I remember attending a recital that she played at the Church of the Holy Trinity (Episcopal) in New York City a few years ago. She made so many mistakes during the Bach - Prelude and Fugue in D major as well as a couple of other pieces. I was almost embarrassed for her. Interesting story however.

  • Interesting! I was a WSU music major, and I've never the restricted area in where the pipes are stored or built. Although I know some history of the Danish organ that was purchased, brought over, and even built around the Wiedemann Hall. The acoustics are just amazing!

  • No offense to Lynne Davis, but there are more than 10 people that can "play the organ this way." Hm. Great story, otherwise!
