http://www.eleanor-3.blogspot.com link to my new project.
This project was started 5/5/09 Sold around 12/2009

engine is a 351W flat top forged pistons, forged rods, AFR aluminum heads, etc etc... tko500 5 speed, 3.55 gears with trac loc, full disc upgrade... i put maybe 1 miles on the car and i really REALLY enjoyed that one mile, its a great feeling, it feels great building something and then driving it. plus its a huge eye catcher, and just a fun cruiser all around.

  • I understand that most people upgrade to the IRS and Rack and Pinion...but anybody with a set of hand tools and a desire to get off your butt can build one of these for a quarter of the cost.

    Kit including rims: $5400

    Crate engine: $4k

    Aftermarket suspension: up to $4k

Interior including paint, roll bar, shifter, console and after market seats: around $3k

    Exhaust: $1k

A really nice fastback that is rust free: Around 25k...

Get some buddies to come over and make something you can be proud of...

  • @bulletproofbullets id say add another 25k to that and you can pull it off with a few guys its always almost double f the estimated price

  • How much does it cost to complete something like this?

  • @Rhoadsyfootball36 around $100,000-$150,000

  • @Rhoadsyfootball36 buying the actual car, all of the restoration and new parts and upgrades, body work and labor etc

  • how much did you sell it for? stunning car btw

  • @nipplebrady1988 thank you, $85,000 sold not painted

  • She's gonna look great once she's painted.

  • Eleanor was a 72 mach 1 from the original Gone In 60 secs. one of my fav stangs

  • @nickt916 what makes it cost so much?

  • my old neighbor had one that he restored a few years back, don't know if he still has it now but i loved that car.. # 9 that was produced and only had 11k miles on it at the time.
