eh i guess i will kayak around them to fish but never purposefully get that close in the water. I've gotten closer to them on land before but they havent had young with them.

This week I went back but this time on an airboat with a guide who feed some gators that size. All I can say is you might be right as they are very capable of capsizing a yak...but I will die living :-)
