In this episode of Real to Reel, Binghamton University senior Katie Richards takes us down to the University's Events Center for Late Nite Madness. The event introduced the Bearcats men's and women's basketball teams to the crowd and students participated in different contests as well as watched performances by the Bearcats dance team and kickline.
Late Nite Madness is sponsored by the Athletics Department, Late Nite Binghamton and the Student Association. During the event, students got free t-shirts, listened to music by the University Pep Band and watched as the basketball teams took part in the Shooting Stars competition and the Slam Dunk contest. A trampoline dunk team called the "Extreme Team" also entertained the crowd with slam dunks and acrobatic skills. The event allowed students to get to know the teams and show their support as the basketball season nears.
Real to Reel films, which showcase what's happening in Binghamton, are made by students for students. If you have an idea for a video or would like to submit your own video, send a message to http://www.youtube.com/binghamtonuniv...
