Rally San Francisco to support freedom in Yemen

From the green lands of Tunisia to the ancient landmarks of Egypt, and crossing to the homeland of Omar Al-Mokhtar, then flying to Yemen where the Arabs originate; liberty and hope continues to flow from one state to another in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

As we observe the demonstrations taking place in Yemen and MENA region confronted with iron hands, the least we can do is support th...ese freedom seekers morally. The simple action of saying no, rallying for the same cause, and making their voices heard to the international community, will advance their task. Standing against oppression is the right of the people where ever they are.

Be part of the rally that supports the revolutions in Yemen and the MENA region. Stand in a moment of silence in remembrance of those martyrs.
The speakers at the rally will include some of Bay Area's most influential Arabs and Muslims.




من تونس الخضراء إلى أرض الكنانه مروراً على ليبيا عمر المختار ، ثم تطير إلى يمن العروبه ، يمن المجد والتاريخ والأصـاله ، نعم لقد أنتشـرت فى كل ارجاء الوطـن العربى وكأنها الهـواء الذى نستنشقه ولا نستطيع العيش بدونه ، إنها الحـريه إنها الأمـل والسعـاده والديموقرطيه الحقيقيه ، إنها أحـلام وتطلعات شبابنا العـربى وشعـوبنا العـربيه التى لم تعرف طيله حياتها سواء حاكم واحد دسـتوره الظـلم والقمع والإضطـهاد والإستعـباد والإستبداد ، نعم أنه ومن المستحيل أن نقبل العيش والإستمرار تحت هذا

الذل وهذا الهوان ، لذلك نحن نعلنها وبإعلى صـوت ونقـول حـان وقت التغـيير نحـو غـداً ومستقبلاً أفضل يحفظ لنا العيش بحريه وكرامه تليق بنا وبهويتنا كشعوب عربيه.

The Prophet said, "Whoever notices something which he dislikes done by his ruler, then he should be patient, for whoever becomes separate from the company of the Muslims even for a span and then dies, he will die as those who died in the Pre-lslamic period of Ignorance (as rebellious sinners). (Fateh-Al-Bari page 112, Vol. 16)

@islamissheaven Are you serious? I just put down 6 hadith from bukhari proving that this is fitnah and against what the Prophet told us to do in this same situation. Take the time and read the hadith brother.

No. 6606 - Narrated Usaid bin Hudair:

A man came to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's Apostle! You appointed such-and-such person and you did not appoint me?" The Prophet said, "After me you will see rulers not giving you your right (but you should give them their right) and be patient till you meet me."

No. 6604 - Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

No. 6603 - Narrated Ibn Abbas:

The Prophet said, "Whoever disapproves of something done by hisruler then he should be patient, for whoever disobeys the ruler even a little (little = a span) will die as those who died in the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance. (i.e. as rebellious Sinners).

No. 6602 - Narrated Abdullah:

Allah's Apostle said to us, "You will see after me, selfishness (on the part of other people) and other matters that you will disapprove of." They asked, "What do you order us to do, O Allah's Apostle? (under such circumstances)?" He said, "Pay their rights to them (to the rulers) and ask your right from Allah."

No. 2761 - Narrated Ibn 'Umar:



The 'Prophet said, "It is obligatory for one to listen to and obey (theruler's orders) unless these orders involve one disobedience (to Allah); but if an act of disobedience (to Allah) is imposed, he should not listen to or obey it."
