This was inspired by the last chapter of the last book of The Chronicles of Narnia. the book is called The Last Battle if you haven't read it, to get the full force, you must read all the others in order first. If you have no intention of reading them, imagine that it is about death, what comes after, and maybe something about the rapture. please comment any way you see fit. if you liked it, or hated it. if it spoke to you, or confused you. i need feedback about this one.

ShadowLand

Into darkness
As everything must go
Nothing remains
Onward Time flows
Hard and dry
Where once rivers ran
Back at the start
When Time first began
Cold and bitter
The world has turned
Like a leaf
Which Autumn has burned
Through the Door
One must proceed
Until He comes
To undo wrong deeds
This new world
Superior to the last
Though much the same
As the one just passed
Glorious and bright
Like a new day
So different though
In every way
Sharp and clear
All things appear
In this new world
Which knows no fear
