ARMAGEDDON is a compound of 2 words: "Har" [the Mount of] + "Megiddon" [the Place of Crowds].

China could be a formittable foe, but they are smart and realize nothing beneficial could come out of a war with the U.S. I believe the U.S. feels the same way about waging war against China. Russia on the other hand, has way too many domestic problems let alone dealing with foreign ones as well.
