General Hospital - 1994-1995 Pt 29 Monica's Cancer

October 1994. Katherine is taken to GH and Tony's been called in to operate. Meanwhile, Monica is really feeling the effects of the chemo. Jason tells Monica that it isn't fair that she has to deal with Katherine AND chemo. Jason confesses that he's never despised anybody so much in his life. Steve shows Alan the tox screen for Katherine and it shows she had digoxin and phenobarbitone in her system (Lila's heart medicine and Monica's pain killers). Steve suspects that somebody tried to poison her.

I just love watching Monica interacting with her kids. Especially before Jason had his accident! So sad what's happened now!

And...something I found kinda funny is that Monica was dressed in a suit jacket, blouse and slacks after her chemo! I'm sorry but if you ask anyone who's been through it, they would all tell you they didn't get out of their PJ's for 3 days! LOL!

I always thought it funny that she was impeccably dressed when she went for chemo. Actually, quite in character I guess. But..I'll give them slack on how she was dressed in these scenes. I got the feeling that Alan brought her into the meeting right after they got back from the hospital. She didn't have time to change.

I would love to see the other part of this episode - where Lois is at the gatehouse explaining to Brenda what happened at the meeting earlier. "She was rolling and rolling and rolling down the stairs...."
