this is beautiful, his voice is so great to listen to it boom out his message. I can't wait to see Jonathon Holiff's new film, he says it has just gone to the sundance festival, he found all those memories of His father Saul, and Johnny's 13 years together. He was all alone after his fathers suicide, and went to his fathers secret storage locker, to find all those tape recordings of his fathers life with Johnny and a young boys view of his father and the man in black. can't wait to see this film

What a wonderful song from the master of emotional sincerity in his singing !
I delivered this great 1987 Guild D-60 R cherry sunburst guitar to John at The House of Cash in late fall 1987. He spent the afternoon with me- a very special special person in my life. He played this great instrument for almost 10 years.

@JCInfocenter Yes that's a true story and I LOVE this great website!! I spent an entire afternoon with John at the House of Cash that day. he was good to us at Guild beyond imagination- cover story in USA Today, using the image in ads etc etc. Also got several other artist endorsers for us. Waylon was really jealous of this guitar. One sold at Sotheby's after John's passing for $75,000. The other was given by his close friend Bill Miller to the Fender Museum in Corona, CA.

@hitman9900 Wow! And thanks for the compliment on the website! How special that afternoon must have been....I visited 'House Of Cash' last year, well, I took a look at the building so to say. I can imagine Waylon being jealous of that guitar :). Although, I don't think I've seen Waylon playing an acoustic guitar. So he had 2 Guilds? I know about the one that was given to Bill, but didn't know he had (at least) two. Always thought that Martin was his favorite brand.
