They're all to blame really, six of one and half a dozen of the other. I certainly wouldn't rely on Wikipedia for facts (on anything come to that). Read the biographies for details. Hugh has been poor since he left and up until Norfolk Coast and Suite XVI, the band were shockingly bad as well

The range this group had, from their snarling days to their stunning harmonic beauty here I think is unsurpassed in Rock. Their music was always brilliant. Surely, the most underrated group of all time. All their songs were well thought out even if they weren't pallatble to the majority.
