  • The pilot looks like Rob Collings of the Collings Foundation. Yes???

  • Not Rob; the Aluminum Overcast program is a decidedly different one than Collings' so that'd be a very unique day in history!

  • @bulletman100 it was the war itself that made them dangerous, they otherwise a very reliable aircraft

  • Beautifull!

  • Man, now I know why my Grandpa was so hard of hearing.

  • Hillsboro??? When was this?

  • I have heard some of the old timers talk of those old planes as death traps even when they were new, and think "why do you want to go up in one of those?" during war I guess there was no fun to be had when you had to go up in a plane that was hurredly repaired everytime it got shot, so it could get right back up asap to raid again.

  • @dvdk87 its nice but it aint no rolls royce merlin pal

  • Yeah, that was a very nice landing.
