When I saw him singing Rigoletto in Paris, I had the feeling of a mix between Cappuccilli and Bruson... A wonderful singer!

@Pertile23 Yes, I saw him 2009 San Francisco "Tosca" as Scarpia, the best, the creepiest (in a good way!). He is AWESOME.

It seems people like him. I heard him in Viena in Ballo in Maschera and I thought his voice was small and very lyric for that role. Nothing impressive or adding anything to the Renato. Just adequate.
But it could have been a bad day. Singers are nor machines, I know.

Actually, he's brilliant!!!! I heard him sing Tonio in Pagliacci at the Met. His voice FILLED the theater, with all color and squillo!!! This video doesn't give justice to his sound.
