Goldenfrog, thank you for the sincere comment, however what initially drew me to Islam is the fact that Allah in the Qur'an calls all men, not just black men, or white men, or even arabs to the truth, and to worshipping Allah. The thing that is honored most by Allah is not a man's ethnicity. but rather his character, and piety.

Furthermore the very idea that Allah is a man is ridiculous! What is a man, but a created thing! Allah is uncreated, and unlike the thing He creates. It's in the Qur'an where Allah says, " Qul huwa Allah; Allahus samad, lam yalid wa lam yulad, wa lam yakun lahu kufu wan ahad."

' Say He is Allah; Allah who is above any wants or needs. He neither begets nor is He begotten, and there is nothing in reality comparable to Allah.' ( Surah 112).

Now prove to me Allah (swt) is a man, and black.

I normally don't respond to ignorant people, but I feel that a comment about what Skullbasha said is needed. I don't suffer from an inferiority complex, quite the opposite I'm proud of who I am. I'm Muslim, my beliefs have nothing to do with color, or ethnicity. Allah doesn't look at our skin color, gender, or culture, rather He looks at the purity of our hearts. The purity of our actions, speach, and demeanor and the intentions from which they come from.
