The Monster Squad 2 - Full Trailer

2nd place in Filmmaking Frenzy's 2008 Unnecessary Sequels Film Contest.

18 years after The Monster Squad closed limbo and rid the world of monsters, Horace has continued to investigate the paranormal. His travels lead him to Amityville, where another doorway into the unknown has opened. An ancient book is thrown from the vortex into Horace's hands with a power hungry force of evil following in its wake.

Horace reforms the squad to confront the new set of monsters that are unleashed. The Springwood Slasher himself, Freddy Kruger, forges an alliance with Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, the soul of Charles Lee Ray (Chucky), and awakens the evil of the Deadites with the power of the Necronomicon.

The Monster Squad forms its own army of allies to battle the evil forces threatening mankind and to seal the portal of evil once and for all.

You know, this would not be a bad idea , I love the storyline of this trailer, and sure wish you could get this Idea to the director of the origanal Monster Squad, I would bet the cast would jump for the chance to play their parts again. Course it's sad that the actor who played Horace had passed away, however that could be written in some how. Again great concept.

@yogertlvr The original director did actually watch this. At one of the Monster Squad's Alamo Drafthouse reunions, the director was asked by an audience member about a sequel and the director basically said "someone already make one online, are they here tonight?"

at first i was like the original movie was about the classic monsters but after few mins into this i was wait ur going to bring ash into this to this had me rolling if this was ever made id pay to see this this was epic lol

@boyofutica il say this studious are more opened to colaberations then they once were but on the other side you have the flop that was elm street 2010 and freddy vs jason that show these characters may not be friendly to this generation this could lead to possible investors being less gun ho over the idea
