  • Is that a mcmillan tac-338

  • @supermemo1999 This is a custom rifle made by Surgeon built on one of their own proprietary EDM made actions. They call this configuration the "Remedy" and is built on an XL action. Surgeon Rifles has a pretty good website. Check it out when ya get the chance. Peace.

  • How much cheaper would it br to handload? I wanted to know because i have a .308 for white tail and i can use that all the way up to elk, if i ever go for moose or grizzley, i want a .338 but those bullets are extremely pricey. Outstanding shooting btw, if your that accurate at 1000 yards then you need to do some compotition.

  • @aswomnessguy I'm shooting Sierra 300 grain boat tail hollow point Match Kings. The projectiles are about $0.60 a piece. I think good penetrating high quality hunting bullets would be comparable or maybe even a little less. Shop arround online for .338 reloading components and add it up. If a guy does it right, you end up with premium ammo at 1/4 the price.

  • holy poop that is a expensive setup but cool nonetheless.

  • @vampov Yeah, I had to choose to get this set-up or a motorcycle. My wife thought this would be much safer, and I suck at driving motorcyles anyways, so I got the rifle. It was a good choice. The motorcylce would have lost 75% of its value by now had I bought that. The rifle has gone up. Firearms are always a solid investment.

  • Put more weight forward on your bi-pod and you will have a lot less muzzle jump.

  • Nice shooting

  • 20 bullets $106 dollars

  • @IndianapolisPeytons nope, one box of this stuff was $125 at my local gun shop, you can get it cheaper online but it is very expensive to just go and buy

  • @CJ80ish I know. Reloading is a MUST with these babies. I launch them for about $0.65 a round now that I invested in the brass. Brass was $2.45 a piece. After that purchase, its do-able.
