A Filipino Martial Art, Kali is based on fluidity, speed, adaptability, precision, and reflex, in order to be efficient.
Eric Laulagnet has been practicing martial arts for more than 30 years, he worked with the greatest French and International experts. He presents defense techniques with traditional stick, tonfa, empty hands, and with a telescopic stick against various attacks with stick or empty hands.
@LCStreetPhotographer nope : you can also learn to fight empty hands against someone with stick, knife, or empty hands.
Also think all the things that can be use as the stick...

Though tonfa is not really a traditional FMA weapon, it is still effective in the system since the mechanics are the same.

@HKSilat
Not really.. Our race is very diverse if you look at the history :)... some techniques and movements maybe the same, it is not shocking since other countries around the Philippines is near... And people back then are known to have traveled each other's islands.

Filipino Martial Arts is similar to Penjac Silat - Filipinos are of Malay race.
