I think it might work but we probably have to let the onion dry then soak it in the Gatorade I have tried the Gatorade that you make out of powder sugar stuff did not soak & yes was the ipod off

It Could be because you poked a hole all the way through the onion, you're supposed to not connect the holes. Because when you go through all the way the gatorade just goes right in and out of the onion. But im not sure.

Would you care to explain that more? I'm not sure what you're getting at. It was my understanding that the holes were to expose all the layers of the onion to the juice.
