  • That argument is used by Holocaust deniers; they too claim to have the facts. The fact is Palestine accepted Jews when the US did not want to know them; when nazi Germany sought and tried to exterminate them. Israel is a classic story out of Aesops fables; not only did it bite the hand that fed it it then continued to murder the samaritan out of avarice and greed. That is the fact. Israel should be ashamed of itself.

  • I dare Bob Sheifer to interview this woman on face the nation! We need more real news. The sheeple are getting fleeced! America needs to stop sending military aid to Israel. Or also start helping Gaza. USA is guilty of this mess Wake up! I fear the Jews will stop at nothing to exterminate the Palestinian people. Israel is the new Germany of 1939. Why don't they see this? Stop shelling Civilians you war criminals! I'm weary from all this nonsense. Civilization is all but dead. humans suck

  • @chrisdef15 Nope, according to international law, land won in a defensive campaign is not stolen. Yes, Syria and Jordan tried to dry us out by diverting the waters of the rivers flowing into the Sea of Galilee. This was a Casus belli, but it was not the cause of the six day war, since we managed to blow up their dams two years earlier. Today, Israel desalinates what it needs from the Mediterranean anyway, so we give Jordan water from the sea of Galilee by the peace agreement of 95.

  • @TheEEStudent

According to International law they stole it, thats all that matter.

You also fail to remember (or just intentionally forget) Israel did alot to cause those wars. One of the big ones was diverting water from the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan river which caused major problems for both Syria and Jordan (and the ecosystem itself).

Isreal has also bombed dams or construction equipment for dams in both Syria and Lebanon.

  • @chrisdef15 "incorrect" would be an understatement to what you've just claimed. We took land mostly in defensive campaigns - claiming we "stole" it and demanding it back is exactly like you go to a casino, gamble, lose money - then demand it back. E.G. in 1967, we launched the preemptive strike against Syria and Egypt alone, as Jordan was considered benign. King Hussein was warned not to intervene, but he opted to bombard Jerusalem. So even Judea and Samaria were taken in a defensive campaign.

  • @TheEEStudent

Peace for Israel maybe but not for the Palestinians, if they dont shoot you just steal more and more land.

  • Basically, the only message that needs conveying is: Don't shoot at us - there's peace. Shoot - we shoot back. That is all.

  • @ShaggyAce

Yes, as are most countries involved in wars just the IDF does it alot more frequently.

There is no excuse for dropping a bomb on a multi story residential building hoping to kill one person as the IDF has done numerous times.

Richard Kemp? He hasnt even been to Gaza, ille stick with the probably hundreds of people in much better positions to comment.

And on Goldstone i never claimed they targetted civilians, just new and didnt care that many would die.

  • @ShaggyAce

WW2 was a very different situation, WW2 was a constant war fought over 6 years, the West Bank situation has been going on for 44 years with alot of relative peace in between.

I suggest you recheck your stats too as i find nothing even close to that.

  • @ShaggyAce

There has been many years of relative peace over the years since the initial occupation, but after 50 odd years of hearing comments like yours i guess the Palestinians are just sick of it.

Your kidding yourself if you think without the pressure from Hamas ect there would even be talk of giving the land back, and thats all i think it is, talk, even as we type this new settlements are being built.

And brutal? Check the body count Israel has killed many times more of them.

  • @ShaggyAce

Well why arent they doing anything to achieve it?

And ofcourse its not easy, but if you never start the process things are never going to change.

And giving back Gaza is in no way the same, look at it from the other side, if most of israel was occupied and the occupiers gave back a tiny percentage of that land you think Israeli's would just put down there weapons? Ofcourse not.
