  • Sr. Benedicta of the Cross gave her life for the love of her God and her Catholic faith, assisting those in the concentration camps. A loyal sister of her Carmelite community, I believe her letter to the Pope did not go unheeded in the light, retrospectively, of history, as 800,000 Jewish peoples received new life by Pope Pius XII diligent rescues over the course of the war while. (US) and Britain, refused emigration of the Jews. Check out Ron Rishlach (?sp documented accounts.

  • This is a Saint for the 21st Century. Why? An atheist, intellectual and very intelligent woman who chose Catholicism.

  • The documentary says she wrote a letter to Pope Pius XI, but the description says Pope Pius XII. Is this a typo?

  • Thank you to this person who also knows the truth about Pope Pius XII

  • The accusations against the Pope are Absurd --- Pope Pius XII saved Thousands of Jews !! she was exterminated in retaliation for the Church reading from the pulpit a plea to the Nazi's to stop the deportation of the Jews...... Get your darn facts straight!!

  • Too bad in 1942 we couldn't trade all the Hollywood Jews, Communist Jews, and Jewish Financiers for Edith Stein.
