@ToChaMayCS Sorry for being rude. I was talking about the war with the US. I posted earlier I visited HCM with my Japanese GF. She wants to go back again this Christmas vacation. Yes, communist countries like Vietnam, China and Cuba have no free elections yet but look, they are not so bad when you compare them with the pitfalls of western democracy like poverty, pollution, crime, obesity, drugs, etc. Be patient. Democracy will come eventually.

@AccordGTR Vietnam people are peaceful normal people...no doubt about it. It's just these stupid communist leaders who are taking away freedom, democracy, and human rights away from their own people. People are not allowed to vote in VN. People are imprisoned and executed because they love freedom. I’m also Vietnamese, and these are facts. So before you ignorant say something offensive to other people, you need to learn more about the oppressive regime in VN.

I just visited HCM City and I must say it was one of my most enjoyable short trips and I have been to dozens of cities around the world. No loss of the US leaving at all. Vietnam is more peaceful and beautiful than any Asian country today because it is less spoiled and polutted than most. US military occupation was an abomination that every person should know. I'm glad we got rid of them from our country. I pity those countries who still have them like Korea, Japan, Iraq and Pakistan.
