  • Please explain what Jip sao translates to

  • @sifurey 接 Jie (v.) 1. join / connect / link 2. receive 3. receiving a person 4. happen / replace Jie 接手 shǒu (V.) happen / continue / undertake Jieshou ... connect or join the hands of a practitioner to another without stopping. Greetings from Argentina. SIFU
  • @XingYiQuanArgentina First time I have heard of this term in training. What family of WC to you teach.

  • @sifurey If it is correct. Not a word 'usual'. A term 'family'. It is a term used in Tang Wingchun Family.

I practiced wingchun multi-line since 1976. But no, YipMan line. Sincerely,

    SIFU

  • Your comente is incorrect: 'wing chun quan'...

'wing chun' is cantonese pronunciation of 詠春 and 'quan' is mandarin pronunciation of 拳....

    you are mistake idiomatic concepts:

'Wing Chun Kuen' or 'Yong Chun Quan' is OK...

    regards,

    SIFU
