No need to source the info. If you actually knew anything about the workings of the FRB you would of known the accounting firm. ALL of my info comes from my 20 years of correspondence the FRB. The fed website or anyone of power in the current system can educate you about why our govt. set up the system they have that has grown the largest economy on earth. The Fed gets audited annually by one of the big four accounting firms. It also is reviewed by the Office of the Inspector General and the General Accounting Office. The Fed's structure, 12 Reserve Banks and a Board of Governors in D.C., is due to the populist movement at the time of its formation... the banks are spread all around the country to ensure that power is not concentrated in NY or DC. The Federal Reserve Act, which I suggest you Google, lays out its powers very clearly.
