Fly fishing the Clark Fork River in Western Montana near Missoula. Blackfoot River Outfitters knows all the Clark Fork's three distinct types of water during it's journey to the Flathead River. The upper reaches above Missoula are noted for small meanders, multiple channels, and brown trout. Below Missoula and the confluences with the Bitterroot, Blackfoot, and Rock Creek; the river is wide, mostly flat and known for its dry fly fishing for rainbows and cutthroats. The Alberton Gorge section is class III white water and class V fishing for big rainbows and cutts. Enjoy and thanks for sharing with your angling friends.
Fantastic footages, really enjoyed them. Flyfishing in shorts, just a few more months until it begins again... :)
