Please. Obama isn't even close to communist. He's bailing out capitalists and fighting a war to protect capitalist interests. Any Marxist would loathe him, and many do.

Socialism is really a spectrum, you could be really socialist (communism) or all the way on the other end and basically be capitalism. Still, In Marxist theory it is said that socialism is the step to transition from capitalism to socialism.
