I just got the compass to work with the Arduino. As with most of my experiments with the Arduino it was far easier than I thought it would be. I bought the compass from Sparkfun. Next step is to hook it up to my Robot.
now try do it work with assembler and a Atmega from atmel, the arduino uses too much resources of the micro and you'll have the micro 70-80% of time in a whait mode. If you building a bigger project with motor, servo, adc sensors, spi communications, rs485 data transmission and pwm commands with arduino you'll ran out of memory after the pin setup :) in atmega 324
nice work!!
