Anybody in the right mind would use a whip or a sword, or something to actually fight monsters with. In mythology, there are only certain ways you can kill a vampire. If you tried to fight a vampire using nothing but your bare fists, you'd get your ass handed to you. But that logic clearly doesn't apply to this game.

I think this and Mary's Shelley Frankenstein (Sega CD) are perfect Halloween videogames. Just play it very loud, with tons of bass. Your house should tremble to the sound.

Looking at it, I don't think AVGN did justice to this game. The controls look perfectly responsive and the graphics blow everything else in 1992 off the park.

Damn, this dude makes this game look easy. Pro tip, it's not...not whatsoever. Even getting past the second stage is a bitch and the controls are pretty rough until you get accoustomed to the awkwardness.
