  • Mmmm thinking of get this reciever but after seeing your speakers maybe i need something bigger... U shouldbof bough a front pair on 'good' speakers and then bought the others afterwards. But i bet you just couldnt wait to run 5.1.

  • @mikeyjharris Yeap.. i couldn't wait, actually i burn the center channel. The reciever is good, but also for the price u could go for a Denon. Something better? a Marantz or a Rotel.

The speakers are nice, when i got an upgrade, Energy will be my choice, i want the Veritas line.

  • @marcolerma97 - how did connect the sub to the receiver? Sub has a left and right port but the receiver has only 1. Another thing, did you try to connect a Mac or a pc to it? How you do this?

  • @unregistered0101 yeap.. u need only a rca to rca cable for the sub. it goes in the left channel and the phase of the sub must be in 0º. i have a monster cable for the sub but any cheaper brand must be ok. no difference.

  • Compare to a bose system ?

  • @Blanchardrs for the $400 dlls i paid for this speakers totally worth it. The best value for the money in this price range. Bose its overvalued. i'd love to make a comparison but it's not in my hands.

  • Lol well in the 20mins before my last post ive decided on the onkyo 709 for alittle more not much tho! Saw a bench test between the pioneer and the 609. Power rating tests with 5 channels running and another with 7 channels. But the onkyos seem to havebother problems. I already have my speakers. Wharfedale 10.2 so i need a brighter amp because of the wharfes being a warmer neutral speaker. Soo onkyo or pioneer are the way i need to go i think.

  • @unregistered0101 Hey man.. sorry but i didn't have time to take pics. if u still need info tell me please.
