  • This type of recitation is known as tarteel, right?

So is that the same as mujawwad? And hadar is how Shaykh Sudais recites?

lol a lot of questions, I know...I just want to be clear on the topic.

    Jazakallahu khair for sharing...

  • Tarteel is delivering words according to their Makharij (outlets for sound or intonations). Saying the words clearly and slowly. Mujawwad is slow, melodical and allows for deeper reflection on individual phrases or verses, rather than flowing through a whole passage.

  • Oki they're different then. So what Qari T is praying is tarteel?

  • Sheikh Tablawi is reciting in Mujawwad.

  • @Waleeja In some countries, tarteel means the same as majawwud, and in other countries, tarteel means the faster way of reciting, like taraweeh in Makkah for example.

  • jazakallah! what a beautiful voice. may allah bless you and sheikh Tablawi as well, ameen

  • اذا اردت ان تسمع اجمل التلاوات القرانية فاسمع الشيج محمد الطبلاوى فى تسجيلاته الخارجية

  • بارك الله فيك

  • Masha-Allah, he recites beautifully. Jazakum Allahu Khair ;-)

  • Oh oh ooh! I understand now... jazakAllahu ahsanal jaza :)

  • Nearly every reciter recites with tarteel, it just means reciting correctly pronouncing every letter and lengthening the sounds that should be lengthened. Qari basit, Tablawi, Minshawi, Sudais etc. They all recite with Tarteel.

  • Oooh...so can you give me an example of a tarteel reciter?
