More water wasted that the pipeline burst..

Mumbai suffered water cuts in last few days, as seven water pipelines were burst in different places of the city causing water shortage. MiD-DAY investigated that the amount of water wasted in the pipeline bursts is very negligible to the amount of water is wasted daily, while it comes to the Mumbai and Thane from the Tansa dam. The pictures speak the story. MiD-Day traveled till Bhivandi and followed the pipeline that was coming into the city to find the number of leakages, holes, water flowing from the pipes etc. Even there was no security seen outside the city. The security inside the city does not seem to be concerned about water, as one can get into the security prone areas without any questions.
