We, the consumers, are partly to blame. You see, it's all about money. There's nothing else here. If we don't buy music and download it illegally (that is stealing it) from artists (and yes, from record companies as well), they won't allow us to watch for free. I'm not talking about legal downloads. But as long as musicians depend on labels and record companies, there's money involved. I bet that even MTV for instance will need to pay for the clips. Now or soon. And yes, it's really awful.
