On Saturday May 12, 2012 in Hollywood, California a new level of DJ performance was reached. Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani better known to the world as Infected Mushroom took the stage at the landmark club Avalon Hollywood to launch what will stand as the new standard for visual and audio performance with the most futuristic 3D video mapped "PODS".

Visual experience experts V-Squared Labs (http://vsquaredlabs.com/) provided the stunning visuals while the music was played live by Infected Mushroom (http://www.infected-mushroom.com/). Amit was playing on the futuristic looking Emulator Dual View System (DVS) using the new Emulator Modular software controlling Ableton Live 8 alongside his vocals.

We caught up with Erez in the studio to explain how he uses Emulator and why this new performance tool is poised to be the gold standard for music software control. Emulator

Modular is the most flexible MIDI controller in the world and there is a reason professionals like Infected Mushroom rely on SmithsonMartin Emulator for their important performances. Pushing boundaries is what we at SmithsonMartin Inc. do every day.

We are the future of music control and Infected Mushroom are the future of music performance.
