Just a tip, you can extend your image in photoshop without needing to create new documents or adding numbers together:
So the much quicker way to do exactly what you just did is:
- Image->Canvas Size (Ctrl-Alt-C)
- Click on the relative tick box, and enter 100 pixels in the width & height box
- Select white as the colour for expansion
- Hit OK
- Repeat the above steps again (but with 200 pixels & black obviously)

That's a long way to do that, I don't have that much time now but i'll get back to ya with a quicker way......good upload tho
