  • i jzzed....

  • @Aliasify - I dunno. Noise is such an important part of a car's character.

  • @EccentricRichard It doesnt need to have a "howl" When it was the fastest production saloon for over 10 years ;)

  • @6stenjo6 Dude, i think you mean padantic right? Not punctual? Anyway, yes the suspension has Mcpherson struts, all cars use the Mcphearson design but they arent actually made by them. At the end of the day, lotus has been owend by many non british companies, but the building and engineering has always been done in the UK by British workers ;)

  • You guys have no idea how badly I wish this car was sold in America during its production

  • the Lotus Carlton is a legend cars arnt classed as legends but i can make an exception for this one

  • @gombeane

turbochargers are Garrett - US of A

Gearbox is from ZR1 vette also USA

Tyres were specially designed for this car by GY, omg USA again, (they cut half a second in 0-60 time with them)

Suspension front was done by McPherson, USA

Body and engine block was made by Opel, D

    Recaro made seats ofc, D

and the rest was Lotus work :)

this is if you want to be punctual

    ;)

  • @Cardie94 Eh, no Vauxhal is run from Germany by Opel, which are both owned by GM, and lotus was at the time owned by GM, so German power plant, increaced displacement and 2 garret T25 Turbochargers by Lotus (British) all owned (at the time) by GM (USA) you could say it's the united nations or NATO of cars. This all doesn't matter anyway, cause it's one legend of a car, and if you are a fan of one, then you are alright with me!
