Finally choreographed this song for class! Love love love this song, but because the song has somewhat of a Japanese feel to it (Fukuoka is a city in Japan) I wanted to first look at some videos of traditional Japanese dancing to incorporate some moves into the choreography. That's what all the dips and arm sweeps are about - hands are like the fans that geisha hold when they dance. At least they're supposed to be like that. LOL!

  • japanese feel ? , this song is performed by Juan Luis Guerra , does it sounds like Japanese ?

he is singing to his girl (in this song) from Fukuoka ... he is in Fukuoka (Japan) and sings to his girl back home ... wtf ? where is connection with Japan and traditional Japanese dance style with this song ???? omg ?? everybody these days post their dance videos on youtube .... this is baad , bad performance and bad theaching to your students ...

  • baaaaaaad styling , this u call bachata ? your point on 4 and 8 beat is like tep in disco fox ... you suck ...

  • looks very stupid... srry

  • @TeAmoFrancisco1 your stupid just because someone is hispanic doesn't mean your born with the ability to dance bachata.I'm hispanic and how come I can't dance ? or neither can some of my friends or family ? because we are not born with it. Yes hispanics invented it but it doesn't mean that it comes with you naturally once your born wtf.... @cassidync129 you did great by the way!

  • I love the Japanese parts! I've been looking for Zumba choreography with East Asian influences and they're really hard to find :/

  • WHY ARE U BITTING YOUR NAILS?

  • It was good but I'm sorry if you was trying to dance Bachata that's nike you dance bachata. Being Hispanic it come ms naturally to me. I'm not trying to be rude or anything.

  • Ok.......

  • love this song and Im also a zumba teacher... I think my choreography would be different, but very cool you did it! I think some people here don't know the difference between just basic bachata and Zumba. Zumba is a fitness class that uses beginner steps from latin dancing for a fitness routine in the gym. It's a great work out and fun!
