Education Rap

An LLED 301 project on literacies. The theme was to make a clip that described our experiences in the UBC education program.
Lyrics:
So heres a story about my Bachelors Ed.
Youll notice a lot of group work, and talks of TED.
Discussions on assessment, and all the above.
Ideals collide; man I dont feel the love.

Somedays, I would get really frazzled,
Reason why, I'd come to class and found they were cancelled.
What the hell? How was I supposed to know?
Anna: Didnt you get the email Steve, 30 minutes ago?

When you work in teams, you gotta watch your talk,
Say the wrong words, and you'll put people off.
Just relax, there are no need for yells,
In text, just use a lot of lol's.

I paid a lot, for this program of education
And I learned a lot had to do with abbreviations.
You got your IRPS,
You got your PLOS,
You got your FAs, Your SAs, and your SEAs.

The greatest experience, was on the practicum.
I loved it, I miss it, it was a lot of fun.
One thing I learned was

My SA told me,

Im tired, I got a buncha papers to do,
On top of that, I got work and some tutoring too.
Someone: Hey Steve, wanna get a little samosa?
No time, my class is in the Pondorosa,

I know this raps bad, its not really me,
But hell, at least I'll be earning that P.
It's almost over, I'm not gonna really cry,
But get certified and yell "bye bye bye".
