As a teen, this patient's mother was treated by a "traditional orthodontist". Her treatment involved pulling permanent teeth followed by straightening crooked teeth by retracting them back into the face with braces. She suffered various pain patterns her entire adult life and connected them back to her orthodontic work. When she saw her son's jaws and teeth developing much like her jaw had, she went on a mission to find a non-extraction orthodontist who could expand the jaws and develop them forward without using retractive headgear or braces that would pull his teeth backward.
@ctweebee im not too sure how they do it but the two teeth have a normal bracket and a wire in between them, then if you look closley you'll see a small elastic band around or on top of the wire going the the two teeth that need to be together

@meriton999 I mean implants or what? The dentist I'm going to wants to use bonding. I'm not so sure. But I take it day to day.

When the "four" spaces are opened, what to they fill it with? Do you know a doctor that can do this for me? I live in Norwalk, Connecticut.

That's a great story, my orthodontist is the SAME way. When some lame orthodontist I went to beefore was speaking of headgear and expanders, this ones doing something similar to the bioblock and with prolly no extractions from what she lastly told me :)
