This is why it's so important to let someone know where you're going. If Altlinger hadn't sent that email to his friend of the directions to where he was going, this case probably would have never been solved. Also, this is a wake-up call for internet dating safety...always meet at a public place, and never assume that who you chat with online is who they say they are.

I live in Edmonton, where the murder rate averages a little over 2 per month, but this story was certainly bizarre.

If this Twitchell guy knew as much as he thought he did, he would have known that thoughts and actions alter the structure of your brain. As in, if you kill people every month and somebody else kills people every month, your brains are going to have similar alterations. So much for his "natural born psychopathic killer" excuse...

Great story! Thnx again for the upload! Weirdest story ever. Killing for artistic reasons?! How can you believe that nonsense?! He's just a psycho who thought he could get away with murder and also thought he could fool police and everyone around him. Cocky psychopathic monster, who consideres himself smarter than everybody. But he's wrong!
