  • I loved listening to these beautiful young girls, when I was just a youngster myself,

enjoying the LW show with my family sitting around the TV, brings back wonderful

memories, and I remember having the deepest crush on Peggy.

  • I wish I could see a print out of this arrangement so I could grasp an understanding of their harmonic structure(s). Does anyone know where I could find this? I believe it was Peggy who classified things as "homemade harmonies." One could argue it is barbershop style but they add something their maternal grandfather taught them as children. They also stated they didn't read music but surely they must have learned along the way. Any thoughts about finding their printed arrangements?

  • This is a wonderful arrangement and performance with beautiful harmonies!

  • I think modern women have lost alot. In our quest for equality being our own person, we have lost a lot of our femininity and our class. I remember my mother being like this. Dressed beautifully and very careful about the image she projected in public.

  • I enjoy listening to this piece with its wonderful harmonies!

  • Great vocal work for sure. Remember, Janet and Dee Dee sang melody so the group can technically work without one or the other. Peggy sang high harmony and Kathy sang low harmony, so it gets tricky without either one. In any case, I just love ANY grouping of the Lennon Sisters :)

  • @rgfcorne You mean "wunnerful, wunnerful".

  • Wow! What a great performance. Peggy is spectacular in the upper ranges. I loved it! Thanks for posting.

  • wow...what a harmony. beautiful.
