Eliminator Live at Sneakers "Flames"

Eliminator performing "Flames" at Sneakers in San Antonio, Texas July 1st, 1989. I only remember the date 'cause that's what was written on the tape. This was a Battle Of The Bands. Had a lotta fun playing at Sneakers over the years. I was wearing these custom white contacts for a few years by this time. Then late one night I saw Marilyn Manson on MTV wearing some very similar white lenses...everybody knows the rest of that story. This was taken from a very old VHS tape so the quality is what it is. But, it's kinda cool to show the kids what dad used to look like (right fellas?). I'll be converting more tapes to YouTube clips as time permits. Have fun! (life's too short not to) Oh, by the way, Eliminator won that night.

you guys stole my first love. she used to say she was going over to your garage to "study" while you were practicing. I still joke with her about it saying "if you wanted to study -you'd go to the library -you only went there because they are "Eliminator" - It was 1990 and you were a band called "Eliminator" How could I compete with that?  Its a somewhat embellished story but I have alot of fun pointing that out to her... . I never heard your music till today :)

Wow, fasthouse....what a blast from the past...I wonder who this could be? To "study"...hmm....did either of you live in the old neighborhood? Thanks for the comment and the telling of an intriguing story. I couldn't sleep, so I got up, logged on, and find this fascinating mystery.
