CubeTwister is an All-In-One-Program

• The data comes directly from the database presented in the three-dimensional spreadsheet program. Selecting data from database is very simple.
• CubeTwister is an office compatible spreadsheet program, so it's possible to change or add data (i.e. budget figures).
• The administrator can make any number of cubes available with any number of variations of dimensions and views.
• The user can choose several cubes on his screen and work on lots of dimensions at the same time.
• The embedded BI-Tools the data can easily be supplemented with key figures, sorted, filtered or graphically arranged.
• The data can be regrouped so ad-hoc new group totals will be created. A repeat order of data selection out of the database isn't necessary.
• With a few mouse clicks the user can send the cubes password protected to the internet or intranet, so that all authorized people worldwide will have access to the information.
The cubes are presented in the cloud as a spreadsheet program, with the inbuilt Bi-tools. The internet users are able to change the cubes and enter their own figures to get their specific results as required. The access is uncomplicated, because this is possible with all common browsers. The cubes can be seen and used on all Smart Phones worldwide.

In our globalized world for the success of businesses it's increasingly important to have all relevant events available quickly and clearly arranged. To respond properly to market events one must know WHAT happens, WHEN and WHERE?

It's obvious that in two dimensional spreadsheets alway just ...
• the what and when
• the what and where
• the where and when can be presented

That's why it's indispensable to store data in three dimensional tables, so in freely rotable cubes. The only way to select any two dimensions to scroll through the third dimension.

Dynamic Infrastructures

Any business can be mapped with the computer as model by using infrastructures... These infrastructures are subject to constant change.

• A field service structure is reduced to five emplyees and inserts a new level in the form of four team leaders
• Monthly and annual figures are no longer sufficient and the quarterly values have to be inserted. The aggregate annual value is not significant and has to be replaced by a floating monthly value.
• The shelf warmes should be taken out of production and it has to be clear how much revenue gets lost and how much cost is saved.
• Articles should be assigned to new groups of articles. Of course with group totals and in such a manner when sorting that the articles are remained within their groups.

All this, of course, immediately and without waiting time on a repeatorder of database selection. This goal can be reached only if the infrastructure in the spreadsheet is dynamic and can be changed with a few mouse clicks.

The most important features are:
• 3D-Key figures
Key figures have to involve the data of the third dimension.

• Ad-hoc Sub Totals
The subtotal is automatically a summary group of the next higher level.

• Filters
By color filters divergent data becomes visible quickly. Filters are also used to distinguish between important an unimportant data.

• Diagrams
It must be possible to embed diagrams into the data, so the reference to other data doesn't get lost.

• Sorting
The sorting must be possible in all three dimensions.
Group structures may not be destroyed by the sort. For example all items of a group have to remain within this group. (if it's not opted to sort independent to groups)


• Conversion
For the conversion of physical units there should be a built-in conversion table, thus no need of entering conversion factors so the entered data is automatically always error free.
The same applies to conversation of currencies and stock prices to be updated via the web.


• Date Arithmetic
Dates and periods should be linked as desired. Date values must be stored in Universal Time and be displayed automatically in local time in any format. With that date values and periods that are viewed in different time zones are alway correct.

Cloud Computing - the reproduction of tables in the web

It's a need that data collected in tables can be sent to the internets "cloud" by a few mouse clicks, thus the information is available to others. In the Internet it must be possible to regroup, to sort, to filter and to analyze these tables. Cloud computing also requires that the software is delivered additionally without any problems.

  • Amazing Software. I already found the test version.The big players as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP or Apple should see this. Data cubes are even running on my i-phone. Samples in WorldCalculator. Never seen before a program that turns a browser into a 3 -dimensional spreadsheet program - containing all Business Intelligence Features.
