@garethbowler The source videos were 24 and 30p, therefore if he dropped the 24p file into a 30p timeline, there are only 24 fps of data even if exported at 30p. this is indeed an accurate comparison.

how the hell can this be a framerate comparison in any way shape of form, you'd have had to drop it into your editing timeline as the same framerate project to make the video

Unless this is being shot at a much higher frame rate than both, this is pretty pointless to do.
