aww... I have a cocker spaniel puppy, he would be a rubbish guard dog, he would roll over and let a robber tickle his belly!

Cocker spanials are real nice dogs they real great at keeping strangers out
and also bad at keeping friends in... but there still cute and nice dogs :)

ECS are such wonderful dogs. I have raised two a blue roan like the ones here to the left of the screen and an all red ECS and it has been a joy. I recently lost my blue roan, chuckie to cancer and old age but he was a pup like dog till the end...I miss him dearly...I still have my red Frankie ECS and he is a joy. Beautiful pups I could watch them all night long!

Cockers spaniels are good dogs. Ive had 4 of them. usually have/get ear problems/infections and get mats in their hair.

This is true Cocker Spaniels are prone to ear problems as they have long ears. You always need to wash your Cocker Spaniels ears atleast once a week.
Some people make their Cocker Spaniels head bands to keep their ears out of the way. How cute!
