Firmware Installation Instruction :
1. Format Micro SD card with Tool
2. Download the firmware file (*.zip)
3. Extratc it. (FREE Program if needed here: http://www.7-zip.org/ )
4. Copy these four items to the root directory of your microsd card. Make sure they are on the root directory of your microsd card, not under any other folder.:
-[Folder]moonmemo
-[Folder]moonshl2
-[Folder]R4iMenu
-[File]R4.dat

Common Problems:

Problem: Stuck at the "MENU" screen after loading DS.
Answer: No firmware or wrong firmware was installed in the SD card make sure correct kernel is on the root of the card.

Problem: Says "save file not found"
Answer: Micro SD card corrupted so reformat card and add kernel files one by one like the video shows and test one game before adding more.

Problem: "System date error! Please check NDS system date."
Answer: Make sure your DS is updated to current date and has this problem still then update kernel.


Problem: After you select the game on the DSi Menu DSi Says: "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details.'
Answer: Your DSi has 1.4 or 1.4.1 Firmware.
If you have a R4i 1.4 and your DSi is 1.4.1 then you need to buy a new card.

How to check DSi Firmware:
1. Turn on DSi
2. Click on "System Settings"
3. Firmware Version located on the bottom right of the top screen
R4i 1.3 will only work on DSi 1.3 (Shows "R4i" game on DSi Menu)
R4i 1.4 will work on DSi 1.4 (Shows "Star Wars" game on DSi Menu)
R4i 1.4.1 will work on DSi 1.4 & DSi 1.4.1 (Shows "Alex Rider" game on DSi Menu)
