I've heard Max, Buddy, Art, Tony, Louie, Tain, Kobie....etc., but I can't believe I'm only now realizing the mastery of Roy Haynes. Fantastic mind...and still going strong at 86! Get his new "Roy-alty" CD. Thanks.

(living) proof that you don't necessarily need rudiments up the wazoo to be musical.
