What type of wood you use for the construction of the boat?

Hi, I'm in Florida, and I'm looking for some wood flour, so I can build one of those stitch and glue boats. Would you know where I can order some, so I can have it shipped to me. I don't won't any other epoxy thickner other than wood flour. I wonder why no one around here doesn't carry that thickner??By the way nice videos.

When do you take the stiches out? Do you only need to put 1 layer of fiberglass on? And does it dry clear? I am almost to the stage where I will stich my kayak. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

whats the process of aligning you mentioned? "winding"? Got any links on that method?

I wonder where you find to straight lengths of lumber - lols. I have never seen one. Maybe an aluminium straight edge but never lumber..
